Healing Mission to
Belize
February 4-10, 2026
In 2025, Encounter sent 37 missionaries across Belize, praying for over 5,000 people and witnessing more than 2,000 healings in just six days. This year, the mission is expanding to 100 people in nine teams, each ministering in local parishes, high schools, and neighborhoods through healing services, evangelization, and an Encounter Weekend Intensive. After four days of active ministry, all teams will gather in San Ignacio for a Spirit-filled retreat with worship, sacraments, cultural immersion, and fellowship. The mission’s goal is to bring healing, hope, and empowerment to the Catholic community of Belize while equipping them to minister in their daily lives. At the same time, participants will experience personal transformation as they encounter the Holy Spirit, grow in confidence, and carry fresh grace back to their own communities.
Healing Mission to
Sri Lanka
June 22-28, 2026
In June 2026, Encounter will send missionaries to Sri Lanka for the very first time, marking a new chapter in our international mission efforts. From June 22–28, teams will partner with local Catholic communities to host healing services, minister in schools and parishes, and offer an Encounter Weekend Intensive designed to release the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. Missionaries will spend four days in active ministry before gathering together for a retreat filled with worship, sacraments, cultural immersion, and fellowship. The mission seeks to bring healing, hope, and renewal to the Catholic faithful in Sri Lanka, while equipping them to continue ministering in their daily lives. At the same time, each missionary will encounter fresh outpourings of grace, grow in confidence, and return home transformed, ready to release the Kingdom of God in their own communities.

Guatemala
October 2026
In October 2026, Encounter will bring its mission to Guatemala, partnering with Catholic parishes and communities across the country. Missionaries will minister in local churches, schools, and neighborhoods through healing services, evangelization, and an Encounter Weekend Intensive. After several days of active ministry, all teams will come together for a retreat filled with worship, sacraments, cultural immersion, and fellowship. The mission’s goal is to bring healing, hope, and empowerment to the Catholic faithful of Guatemala, equipping them to live Spirit-filled lives and share the Gospel with confidence. At the same time, participants will encounter personal renewal, deepen their intimacy with the Lord, and return home with fresh grace to release the Kingdom of God in their own communities.
